PCBN Cutting Tool Inserts
The series of BNS cutting tool inserts feature a high hardness, excellent heat resistance, and long service life. Both sides of the BNS insert cutting edge can be used for cutting, making the tool ideal for use in rolling, mining machinery, grain and oil machinery, auto parts, aeronautics and astronautics, molds, large bearings and more.
Within this series, the BNS51 and BNS610 are the most popular, and within the automotive industry, have replaced imported cutting tools to become the most common tool of choice.
These are BNS11 overall inserts we have produced:
BNS-11 PCBN inserts contain 90%-92% PCBN, with a grain size of about 8μm-12μm. This makes this series ideal for high speed machining of common gray cast iron and processing engine cylinder blocks and cylinder heads in the automotive industry.
BNS-25 PCBN inserts are a common choice among customers who need to carry out cutting and processing work for alloy cast iron and alloy cast iron materials such as rolls, slag slurry pumps, mining machinery and more.
BNS2502 inserts contains 89%-91% PCBN and a grain size of about 30μm-40μm, which makes them ideal for cutting manganese steel.
BNS25 inserts are available in a variety of shapes and tip angles, allowing customers to choose different cutting methods through the adjustment of the corner radius size and different cutting edge handling methods to satisfy their cutting requirements.
BNS-2503 PCBN inserts are used for cutting and processing of sintered iron. This insert series contains about 89-91% PCBN and a grain size of about 30μm-40μm, thus meeting the requirements for sintered iron and ensuring the processed products feature a high precision. Customers can choose different insert cutting methods by adjusting the corner radius size and handling the cutting edge.
BNS-30 PCBN inserts contain 68%-70% PCBN and feature a granularity of about 2μm-4μm, making them ideal for cutting and processing tough material such as quenching steel, bearing steel, mold steel and more. To meet different customer requirements, the BNS30 overall inserts are available in a variety of shapes, including rhomboid, square, circle, convex triangle and more. We also offer different cutting methods by adjusting the corner radius size and handling the cutting edge in a variety of ways.
BNS-51 PCBN inserts are primarily used for high speed cutting and processing of wear resistant alloy casts, such as brake discs and brake drums. Because of the high tensile strength of wear resistant alloy cast (greater than 21on/mm
2) and its hardness value range of HB187 to HB241, PCBN inserts used must have a high PCBN content and a medium to high granularity, allowing the alloy material to be easily cut and processed.
BNS-610 PCBN inserts are used for high temperature cutting and processing of alloys used in aerospace engines, and brake disc finishing. This insert series contains 88-90% PCBN and a granularity content of about 1μm-3μm. To meet different customer requirements, the BNS-610 PCBN inserts are available in a variety of shapes, including rhomboid, square, circle, and converse triangle. Different cutting methods are also available, simply by adjusting the corner radius size and cutting edge handling methods.
